Everytown
2022-Present with Laura Bernstein + Sam West + Sidney Namey
Everytown for Gun Safety︎︎︎ is the largest gun violence prevention organization in the U.S., uniting nearly 11 million supporters through evidence-based advocacy. As the umbrella group for Moms Demand Action︎︎︎ and Students Demand Action︎︎︎, Everytown fights at the local, state, and federal levels to pass life-saving policies.

01
Research
Everytown Research leads original research dedicated to understanding the causes of gun violence in order to develop evidence-based solutions in a bipartisan manner to the public. Our collaboration with them spans designing research reports for web and print to identifying and developing data visualizations to help make the information more digestible.

02
Partnerships
Partnerships come with a wide spectrum of creative conditions—sometimes we’re working entirely within Everytown’s brand system, and sometimes we’re entering a partner’s visual world and finding ways to bring our message into it.

Students Demand Action
With Laura Bernstein + Sam West + Sidney Namey + Casey Courtney

01
Rebrand
Students Demand Action’s brand needed to evolve to match the growth and energy of the movement. The process of rebranding dove into field analyses—looking at young advocacy organizations and also interviewing a series of SDA members. In this rebrand we really wanted to root ourselves back in that grassroots spirit.

02
Toolkits
Students are smart, tech-savvy, and full of ideas. So, supporting them means building tools—spanning social media posts, emails, decks, and documents and making sure they’re equipped with flexible brand assets.

03
Workshops
Outside of digital and print assets, it’s always really exciting and one of my favorite parts when we have the opportunity to interact with the volunteers. Here’s an example a sign-making workshop my team led during our annual conference.

Moms Demand Action
10 Year
Sam West + Sidney Namey + Casey Courtney
To mark a decade of Moms Demand Action volunteer impact, the creative team developed two commemorative marks and a visual system that both celebrated the milestone and stayed true to the brand. This cohesive look extended across banners, placards, merchandise, and social media graphics.

01
Strategy
We began with interviews, listening to members and volunteers share how Moms has evolved and what it means to them. The design had to feel joyful and grassroots for volunteers while remaining credible and compelling to lawmakers and donors. Hand-drawn “10” marks paired with refined serif type, flexible seal variations, and the anniversary line “Keep Going. Keep Growing.” bridged that balance.
